Insight fully recognises the pressures placed on managers’ time and the tension between ‘doing the day job’ and learning how to do a the ‘day job’ more effectively. Finding the time for personal and skills development can often be difficult and not given sufficient priority. Equally, it can also be difficult for organisations to release many staff at the same time for longer training events.
To address this issue, Insight presents learning master-classes, which are condensed, focused, high-impact training sessions, rather like an ‘espresso’.
These events can be:
An introduction to the basics – covering the fundamentals of, for example, time management
A refresher / update for more experienced staff
Emphasising a specific skill, technique, or issue e.g. a particular approach to project management
As with all our other training events, the emphasis is very much on practical tools and techniques, which can be immediately and directly transferred to the work environment.
