Teams are groups of staff who genuinely need to co-operate to achieve results. To be effective, team members must become comfortable with working together, although there’s more to being in a team than being happy, trusting and co-operative.

Teams must possess the necessary skills to ensure that the team is as effective as it can possibly be. In the most effective teams, members possess knowledge, skills and mutual understanding that equip them to take responsibility for the way the team works.

Such teams find that they can work well in almost any situation they find themselves in. Members work organically, capable of stepping outside of the responsibilities set by their job roles and of recognising the need to use more than just their core job skills to achieve objectives.

Our team-building events are based on an analysis of the specific needs of your team and can not only help build up team management skills, but also any wider competencies that the team needs to meet its challenges.

We work with teams at each stage of formation, from new teams such as project teams who need to build a sense of inter-dependency, to established teams who need to refocus their efforts to overcome conflict, or to agree a new way forward, or just be as good as they can be.
